Description
The only time full grown giraffes are at risk from predator attacks is when they are drinking. They have to spread their legs out wide so as to be able to reach the water. They are extremely nervous when drinking, hence they throw their heads back to gulp down the water and to be able to survey the scene for threats. Ndutu, Tanzania.
I will be leading a trip to Ndutu, Tanzania, in late Febrary of 2022.
