I was disappointed that the image on this pouch was not very clear. The zipper doesn't work real well, either.

Lakes are dying up in California; the Midwest aquifer has been radically reduced. Crops wither and die on the vine and new wells drilled in response to the problem with surface water are reducing the underground water table and threatening to become salted . The earth is changing. Climate is changing. To what extent man is contributing to this change remains unclear, but the science suggests that a warming of the earth is clearly occurring because of the amount of C02 that continues to be pushed into the atmosphere. With warming of the poles there is a defrosting of the permafrost and release of methane, which has an even greater potential for atmospheric warming. Weather has and will continue to change in response to the heating of our atmosphere. Areas will become desert that were once fertile lands. This work is meant to draw attention to the problem of climate and climate change.

GEORGIA SHERON
Most imaginative Jeff. Great idea for a "landscape". I think Georgia O'Keeffe would have appreciated this image. The parts that made this so unique are the raven, skull and waterscape box in the wonderful play of subtle desert coloring. Excellent job in drawing in the sky, drought cracked soil field and mountains. Very stunning composition of skull with terrific horns. Kudos, cheers, georgia
Jeff Burgess replied:
Thanks so much Georgia for you wonderful comment.
