Description
I took this photo about 3 years ago and have passed it over many times without really seeing it properly. In the original shot the birds were on a white sandy beach and you could hardly see them against the sand, but the other day I noticed there was a certain "poetry" about their movement and they made me think of ballet dancers. So I decided to make an artistic painterly image using textures and pastel colours to emphasize their graceful sparring.
The photo was taken at Sebastian Inlet in Florida.
