Beautiful image of Mr. Garcia... photo was tack sharp, colors were saturated, price was a little stiff, but I think it was worth it. This was framed and given to my best friend as a gift. He saw the Grateful Dead in concert over 20 times.

I love George Booth. He is one of the great cartoonists. Where is his work? I search the New Yorker and am unhappy not to find any. Please give us back George Booth. Louise Kurshan

I love these cards with the Clydesdales horses. I had a jumper and I miss riding but I now have bad knees.

I purchased this lovely card on 10/11. The site said it ships in 2-3 business days. It shipped on 10/17, and I received it on 10/22. I bought it for my bosses birthday which was 10/20. I never gave it to her, thanks a lot. Too bad, I know she would have loved it!

Artist's Description

This is a portrait of "Duke's Go Hancock" out of the famous Joe Hancock and Peter McCue Bloodlines. Duke was 15.3 and from the side you could see the Percheron and McCue breeding and Quarter Horse influences. A very sturdy built double Registered Quarter Horse /Appaloosa. Duke was a ladies horse and loved people. This portrait is done in a mix of bic pen, and color pencils to bring out the unusual coloration of his coat. This coat pattern is called a Leopard Appy Coat and the unusual marking on Duke's left side is a jumping Poodle dog, depending on who was looking at it. Duke won in the show ring the very first time he set foot in the classes and won everyone's heart outside of the show ring as he was very people friendly. Duke was sold to a young lady in Missouri in 2003 who took him to 3rd level dressage which was quite an accomplishment for a western pleasure and halter horse. He is truly loved to this day and admired.
