This is one of my favorite places to go for Bald Eagles. He sat here for quite a bit, saw his mate in the distance, started making his cry which was beautiful, and then took off.

I have loved photography for over 40 years. I started out in the early 70s with film and slides. Then life took over and I didn't shoot much. In the 90s, I fell in love with digital and shot with several Sony cameras, point and shoot and super zooms. About 5 years ago I upgraded to a Canon 40D DSLR so that I could capture birds in flight better with it's 6 frames per second rate. Then just a couple years ago, I got the Canon 7D which was a nice upgrade on the 40D. I have 1 Tamron lens and 4 Canon lenses with a whole bunch of accessories. It does get expensive. I love getting out in nature and taking photos. Whether I get good ones or not, I sure have fun taking them and meeting people who enjoy the outdoors as much as I do. ...
