"Eagle on Fence Post" by Patti Deters. An American Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus, falconiforme) perches on a barbed wire fence post at the edge of a field filled with blooming purple flowers. This is a lovely summer country composite scene set at the edge of a hilly forest of trees. Hi! My artwork is photography of all things nature, especially wildlife, flowers, and landscapes. Many of the flowers and wildlife images are from my local area around Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota. Others are from photo trips taken with my husband of 40+ years. Some of the images are what I like to call "documentary art" - that is, I capture the best photos from wherever I am and then enhance them - sometimes a little, sometimes a lot - to make my own kind of "real life" art. Other images are more digital and simple, and those tend to portray the softer side of nature.
