Thank you Susan and Lee. That painting is one of my favorites because it depicts and Great Lakes fish tug as fishing boats were called in the early days of steam. My great grandfather was a great lakes fisherman at that time and he came to Gloucester, Ma. in 1912.

Beautiful work!!! f/l

I just love the mood of this Bill. Soft and subtle.....and a chilly morning too.f/v

This painting was selected by the Dahlmer Family Reunion committee as the center point of the design for their 2012 Family Reunion which will be held July 7 in Gloucester, Mass. The Dahlmer's who were commercial fishermen in Charlevoix, Mich. took their boats over 2,000 miles to help six other Michigan families establish the first gillnet fishery out of America's Oldest Fishing port in 1910-1912. My painting is of a 1900's era Great Lakes Gillnet boat.

Thanks, Barbara. Sold a print of that painting yesterday on FAA

Thank you, Jack. I appreciate the feature
