Photo taken early in the morning at Blue Ridge Lake, in Blue Ridge Georgia. Blue Ridge is located in the North Georgia Mountains in a very quite tourist town. The lake is a main draw for this small town, but there are lots of attractions. This was taken in the winter when the lake was drawn down to the winter levels. The Tennessee Valley Authority uses this lake as a flood control for the area, as well as a feed for a major river rafting attraction. This particular morning the sun was rising with pastel colors of different shades of blue, red, pink. The wonderful pastel colors of the sky reflecting in the water really adds to this photo. The boat dock on the right side of the photo is struggling to remain afloat in the decreasing water levels while other docks are dry docked. This very simple but colorful photo would be a great addition to your collection, or a wonderful start to your collection.
