Artist's Description
A Street view down from Brady Street in Milwaukee. The East Brady Street Historic District is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.
History
In the 1870s, the district emerged as a center of Italian commerce with a concentration of Italian immigrants living in the surrounding neighborhood. St. Hedwig's is located at the center of the district.
