Description
The 104m high waterfalls of Chorro de Giron (pronounced hee-rrronn), are twice as high as Niagara Falls. The falls are in 3 sections, with the lower falls being the most spectacular. We didn’t have the time nor inclination to hike another 3-4 hours to get to the upper falls.
This digitally altered artwork is derived from a photograph taken Jan 6/15 near Giron, Ecuador, South America nestled in the Andes Mountains.
Here is a video of the waterfalls and the desert trek we took June 29/12. http://youtu.be/uz7-CN3GAzk
