Every photographer has a vice; something that always captures their attention. One of mine happens to be gears and chains. There is just something about the mechanical rawness that begs to be photographed. For this shot, we were in a museum full of items from the industrial revolution. There was a giant representation of the great Chicago fire on the wall but in front of it stood this huge industrial machine. Instantly I could see the photograph in my head, this big rusty chunk of metal standing defiant in the face of a firestorm. This piece is titled "Ember's Revolution."
