I took this sun breaking through dark stormy clouds on the scenic Cape Kiwanda Oregon coast while visiting friends in Oregon. The sunlight breaking through the clouds and shining on the ocean and the magnificent powerful waves as they broke on the rocks and cliffs made this fine art photograph something special.

Jerry This is truly incredible -- an amazing capture of a backwash colliding with an incoming wave to create a huge plume of water -- but In addition the glowing silvery light in the sky and background ocean is also passing through that plume to make it translucent! Stunningly beautiful!!
