Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

I wanted a photo that showed what a beast these things are, and this one really shows it.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

Helena I have been enjoying your gallery tonight and even though I have commented on this piece before, I feel this piece so deeply. The story here cannot be denied. It shows so well in the colors and poses of these two. It is beautiful and sad and sensual and very thought provoking. I admire your artwork more than words can say. F/V

This is a beautiful painting Helena! I love the composition especially and how it pulls you right into the painting. I do find it interesting that her body is "cool" not only compared to his, but compared to her hair. One of the symbolic meanings of hair is often that it represents one's spiritual nature. I get a sense that though connected on some level, she is trying to overcome something that separates them. v/f

I keep looking at this great artwork and wonder if she is contented with him or if she is sad about the relationship. I noticed that his head is turned away and yet he holds her hand. She rests her head on his hand. I suppose it could be either way. I do have empathy for her in this situation. Don't know if I got it right but that is what I saw. She is pale and cool. He is warm. Love this piece as there is much to see and feel with this image.
