I am a nature photographer currently living in north Florida. My lifelong interest in nature photography started at an early age with a very simple (no electronics) 35mm camera and a simple hand-held meter, shooting what my parents called “bug shots”: beetle on rock, dragonfly in flight, bugs on flowers. You get the idea. After many years using film SLRs, I got a 2 megapixel digital camera back in 2001. The limits of 20 or 36 exposure rolls of film was removed. I was free to take many images of an animal in hope of getting that perfect pose or facial expression.
