Description
This smaller band of Kiger mustangs consisting mostly of dark bays take in the breath-taking view here on the western slopes of the Steens Mountains. Plenty of grass shows they are not desperate for food. The muscular band leader stallion, or "patron", keeps a cautious eye on me. Note the play of shadows over the landscape.
