Description

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Fascinating capture

Artist's Description

The charioteer and apobates (hoplite-athlete) stands on the diphron (enclosed platform) of the chariot. The later is wearing a long chiton with straps tied crosswise to facilitate movement. Unlike the other apobates, he carries his shield on his back and is wearing religious clothing. He has been identified as Erechtheus, the mythical founder of the chariot race of the apobatai. Andonis was born in Istanbul and was awarded B.A degree in Anthropology and History of Art from S.U.N.Y. at New Paltz, New York. I combine photography, archaeology and nature. Recently I reside in Greece, cooperating with publishing houses and magazines. I have published articles with photos covering from Neolithic, Cycladic, Minoan, Mycenaean, Bronze Age, Geometric, Archaic, Classical, Hellenistic up to the Imperial Roman period.
