My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

Reprographic Art. Print, photography and digital combined to generate a rethinking of photography and fine art. Welcome to Taylored Sofa &Co. at ... My name is Chris. I am presenting a collection of point and shot film and digital photography with intent to share my ardent appreciation for innovation in most all it's forms. This appreciation for innovation stems from my love for Christ Jesus and the wonders of God, America and her founding principles, printing, in all its iterations and resulting digital age. I have four pillars of artistic influence. Each man either changed the art world or the world it self. The first pair loved the printed word and it's dissemination. Chronologically, Johannes Gutenberg is first. His invention of mechanical movable type printing started a revolution with the Gutenberg Bible and the spread of learning to the masses. In turn laying the foundation for modern knowledge-based economies. Benjamin Franklin the second pillar, was a leading author, printer, political theorist, politician, the first post master and devised the U.S. postal system , scientist, inventor, statesman, and diplomat. Mr. Franklin's résumé continues. The third and fourth pillars move from black and white to light, color and production. Edward Hopper, a master in the Realist movement, was an illustrator early in his career. After studying in Paris with founders of the Impressionist school of thought like Paul Cezanne and Claude Monet and others. His time in Paris, 1906 and 1910, Hopper developed a palette filled with light and economy of stroke. Bring a value to the light that we men use to hold the dark back. The three trips to Paris engendered this statement 'I think I'm still an Impressionist...' in 1962, five years before his passing in '67. His images like Night Hawks . 'Illustrator Andy Warhol was one of the most prolific and popular artists of his time, using both avant-garde not to mention highly commercial sensibilities.' Mr. Warhol's placement in history and his influences on my artistic vision is innumerable. Regarding influences, chief among them, Mr. Warhol's approach to fine art. It was a tectonic shift in the art world. Mr. Warhol's background in commercial illustration and in turn printing and silk screening lead to the speed and volume at which he produced his work. From t-shirt screening to Volumes of images that are familiar like our own kitchen pantries. A language that is a part of our popular culture today. Art, rooted firmly in our industrial culture. Mr. Warhol put a piece of fine art (maybe not considered so by all) on every wall or coffee table in America. These four men are the framework for my artistic endeavor into, what has most recently evolved from a loose and popular idea to a clear vision, Reprographic Art. Print, photography and digital combined to offer Unique works of art. Each image you see is an original. Owned and controlled by Taylored Sofas&Co.
