I painted this watercolor from a photo taken on a trip to Paris. Our hotel (St. Dominique) was on this street- Rue St. Dominique, and the beautiful Eiffel Tower was part of the wonderful view.

I am a California artist and I divide my painting time between watercolors and oils. My favorites are still life paintings, but I also enjoy beach and garden themes. Many of my paintings come from scenes in my own garden. I have loved all kinds of art for as long as I can remember, and started drawing and painting as a kid. I grew up with a very creative mom and that definitely inspired me to continue on and study art in college. I have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Arts from CSUFresno in California. I have been lucky to live on both coasts- California and Long Island, New York.
