I think the frame and mat work very well with this, it is really impressive in person. Grouped with a small Grant Wood with high quality lighting it sets the mood for a Georgia farmhouse.

Francisco Goya (1746-1828) a Spanish painter and print-maker is considered one of the last of the Old Masters of painting as well as the first of the moderns. In 1819, with the idea of isolating himself, he bought a country house just outside of Madrid. There he created the Black Paintings with intense, haunting themes, reflective of the artist's fear of insanity and his outlook on humanity.
