I fell in love with this photo the day that Jan posted it. The cards are beautiful, frame able for a small space. I like that they have plenty of room for writing or doodling inside.

Angry or evil or maybe both - fascinating the way the faces merge and one's jawline becomes the other's brows, one's shadowy cheekbones the other's hair . . . This was one of my two pod's in the Best of Minimalism group for January 26.
Keith A Link replied:
Hi Nikolyn, thank you very much for your thoughtful comment and the POD!

I think by now, I have made it clear that I'm a huge fan of your work. This intriguing piece only reinforces my appreciation for what you do. I would love to spend about 10 minutes in your mind when you're working just to experience how you decide what to place where and how. Then again, that is the "trade secret" to what makes your work so amazing!
Keith A Link replied:
Hi Danusha, thank you so much, I really appreciate your comment. It really means a lot to me. It's interesting to try and explain it. Sometimes I have a concept already in mind, but often I just draw (or paint) and see where it takes me (I suspect a lot of artists do that). It's best when I'm just as surprised by what comes out of it as some one who may be viewing it. Another little insight is I'll sometimes just make a few confident lines and start to let imagination fill in the blanks. Much like the game of looking at clouds and trying to see familiar objects in them. So, that's some of it - well, that, and I've been drawing since I could first hold a crayon! Thank you again, Danusha! I'm a big fan or your art as well.
