FALL COLOR ON THE WEST FORK TRAIL - This scene was found while hiking the West Fork Trail on Oak Creek in Sedona, Arizona. The fall colors should have been at peak, but heavy winds had knocked many of the leaves off the trees. So, when we found this beautiful stand of colorful trees near the creek, I decided that it called for a panorama image to capture the whole scene! The day was warm and sunny, but it was wonderfully cool in the canyon...a truly idyllic day!

I have spent most of my life living in Southern California where I have developed an appreciation for all the beauty provided by nature. I've been blessed to be able to visit gorgeous mountains, like the High Sierra, which is home to some of the most majestic sights on earth, such as Yosemite National Park, as well as making quick trips to the beaches of the Pacific Coast, if I want to spend an evening shooting a sunset.
