Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

This painting was inspired by all of the large rocks and boulders that line the river that runs beside the road in Chimney Rock. This river runs along an ancient fault line and the mountains that are left are mostly made of granite. Lots of very interesting rocks in this area.
About Sharole Ewing
Sharole (pr. “Sheryl”) creates artwork and portraiture primarily in the Realism style while her other selected works have hints of the Impressionistic and Painterly styles. Characteristics include visible brush strokes, open composition, emphasis on light in its changing qualities, the inclusion of movement, and unusual visual angles.
