Fall leaves in brilliant colors of orange, red, and yellow nestled in green foliage. This is one of my favorite paintings. When viewed, you feel that you can almost pick up one of the fall leaves off the ground.

I specialize in photo realism. The first time I achieved photo realism in a painting, I was hooked on the technique. Photo realism is difficult to achieve in watercolor. I thicken my watercolor paints to achieve the level of clarity in this painting.

I enjoy the beautiful leaves of fall and the brilliant autumn colors. The ground often looks like it is covered in yellow, orange or mixed colors of snow. I can remember raking the yard when I was younger with my brothers. We worked hard gathering autumn leaves into piles. Then we would jump and play in the brilliant colored leaves.
