Love this print! We bought it for our son and daughter-in-law, whose 2-year-old little boy looks so much like the little guy in this picture. They were so surprised and happy with it! It’s at their house, so I don’t have a photo to attach!

The lonesome cry of the Common Loon is a familiar sound throughout the lake and river country of Ontario. These pair are cautiously guiding their two youngsters across Goose Bay, on the inside of Island #99, just west of Rockport, Ontario, in the beautiful Thousand Islands of the St. Lawrence River.
About Richard De Wolfe
The Thousand Islands region of Ontario, Canada, was the perfect backdrop for a childhood filled with adventure for Richard De Wolfe, an artist who still identifies strongly with rural life. The forests, fields, and of course the mighty St. Lawrence River, made the wonders of nature come alive for him. The art of Richard De Wolfe has been very popular ever since his first one-man show at the age of eighteen. That show was a sell-out, supplying him with commissions for many months.
