The fog slowy receeds from the landscape to reveal farms and Vermont fall foliage. It's early morning and the farmers are doing chores like milking cows and feeding livestock. My wife has impressed upon me an appreciation of the work that the small farmer does for us. From the milk we drink to the meats on our dinner table not to mention those apple pies I love to make. Farms with orchards are forever producing what we need to survive.
