Beautiful! The image looks so nice on the wood, very natural feel to it. The colors are not as vibrant as I was expecting, as the wood lightened some areas, but still gorgeous. Thank you!

Entitled "Father & Son." The painting is in no way meant to be a portrait of God or Jesus. I never saw them face to face so to paint a portrait would be impossible. The painting is about their relationship and also, to bring forth the message - both are very much real. There is the "person" of Christ and also the "person" of the Father as well. God is not a person, but we all were formed and made in His image - the person of the Father. God is also not a "universe" as some claim Him to be. He is not the universe, He created the universe.The painting was created simply to show the love they have for one another. There is no grander example of a Father & Son relationship then that of God and Jesus. This was all that was meant to be behind the intent of the painting.There is however, one aspect regarding this painting that most people miss when they look at it. About Danny Hahlbohm
Danny Hahlbohm was born in Mineola, New York on June of 1949. He grew up on the eastern end of Long Island, New York until 1968 when he enlisted in the Armed Forces and was sent overseas. Honorably Discharged in 1972 Danny began painting for galleries and auctions houses across the Nation. Two years later he started touring the country, promoting himself and exhibiting his work nationally from coast to coast. Danny was approached by one of the largest publishers in the art field while on tour in 1978, and they began distributing reproductions of his works throughout the country. Within a year Danny released Footprints in the Sand. This resulted in world recognition, putting the art work of Danny Hahlbohm into the homes of...
