Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Taken at the Houston Zoo, Chilean flamingos
Standing as tall as five feet, Chilean flamingo adults can be as heavy as 16 pounds. The neck is long as are the legs, and the bird has pink feathers with black wings. The bird's bill is large and shaped like a banana
The Chilean flamingo's hearing is acute but its sense of smell is poorly developed. The bird can live as long as 50 years in rare instances, but 20 to 30 years is the average
The Chilean flamingo has the ability, like all flamingos, to stand on one leg to conserve heat. The bird can lock its leg into a stable position and then stand facing any bad weather, such as rain and wind. This keeps the elements out of its feathers.
The Chilean flamingo dines on such creatures as frogs, small fish, seeds, and the algae that live in lakes and marshes. These birds filter their food through their beaks, which acts almost like a strainer, before swallowing it.
