It�s winter now and our Felis Silvestris Catus has finally ventured out after a light blizzard. His perch from high in a tree helps him keep a lookout for his enemy, the coyote. Let�s wait and see if he jumps down to hunt. With his excellent hearing, the Catus will be able to hear any rodents that might be under the snow. He can hear sounds too faint or too high in frequency for human ears, such as those made by mice and other small game. Rodents often communicate in ultrasonic frequencies which the catus can also hear.
