A female Olive-Backed Sunbird clings to a heliconia flower. The Sunbird is a common bird in Singapore. It is a small passerine bird of the Nectariniidae family. Most sunbirds feed largely on nectar, but also take insects and spiders, especially when feeding young. The photo was taken in Singapore.
