Beautiful! The image looks so nice on the wood, very natural feel to it. The colors are not as vibrant as I was expecting, as the wood lightened some areas, but still gorgeous. Thank you!

Artist's Description
Sitting female samurai with her back against the viewer and a katana in hand.An Onna Bugeisha was a type of female warrior belonging to the Japanese upper class. Many wives, widows, daughters, and rebels answered the call of duty by engaging in battle, commonly alongside samurai men. They were members of the bushi (samurai) class in feudal Japan and were trained in the use of weapons to protect their household, family, and honour in times of war.This is my version, not meant to be an accurate depiction, of a Onna Bugeisha. Made as mix of my photography and digital illustration, created in Photoshop in my spatter style.
