Very nice print and frame. Great picture.

Very upset about this one. The print was smudged and the staples in the frame made the image bumpy. Very poor quality for the price I paid.

Very nice print and well framed.

This painting by Russell enhances our fireplace.. The color as viewed online couldn't have been anymore correct.. It's amazing how the process of transferring print art to canvas turns out.. Nicely done, thanks

quality is pretty shit to be honest. for the price I paid, both canvas frame and print out photo, ended up costing more than $500AUD for a shitty print. quite disappointed. delivery was good but besides that quality is shit

Artist's Description

MODEL RELEASED. Fifth Disease. Red rash on a young boy's face due to an infectious disease caused by a parvovirus. Fifth disease is also known as slapped cheek" disease or erythema infectiosum. It is the least well-known of all the common diseases of childhood. Fifth disease affects children between the ages of 2 to 14; outbreaks appear in the spring. Symptoms of a spreading rash & a mild fever appear after an incubation period of between 4 to 14 days. Adults, who only rarely contract the disease, may suffer from joint pain & swelling. Treatment is minimal, consisting of bed rest, good hydration & paracetamol to reduce any fever."

About Dr P. Marazzi/science Photo Library

Science Photo Library was founded in 1981 by Michael Marten, one of the authors of "Worlds Within Worlds", a book exploring different ways to observe the universe - from electron micrographs, to images of earthrise taken from the Apollo spacecraft. When Marten started receiving requests for the beautiful images in the book, he had an idea of setting up Science Photo Library. Since then, Science Photo Library has continued to work alongside world acclaimed photographers and the leading science and medical experts to provide a central source of the best science and specialist imagery available. Although the collection started with scientific images, it has grown to encompass all aspects of science and their impact on everyday life.
