I absolutely love this beach towel. The image is very clear. I've had it for years and it still looks brand new.

This was a terrible purchase. Nothing like the photo--it is a mauve pink and low quality. I have been attempting to return it for weeks and have had no response from Pixels except to be bombarded with ads. Do not recommend doing business with this company

I really like this towel but I bought this as a present for a 6'5 foot tall person and produce came a little smaller than listed. When it arrived the tag said "Bath towel" not a beach towel. Still a very large Boblicious towel and is larger than the normal bath towel.

Artist's Description

This statue in Tucson's Armory Park dates from the 1898 Spanish-American War. Within hours of the war declaration the first war film was created on the roof of a New York building; a fictitious rendering of the removal of a Spanish flag in Havana replaced by the raising of the stars & stripes. The 90 second propaganda film was made by the newly formed Vitagraph Company, which survived until 1924 when it was bought by Warner Brothers. This delightful short was produced by the movies first animator, J. Stuart Blackton (1875-1941) (the founder and head of Vitagraph), drawing in this 1900 effort,"The Enchanted Drawing." www.youtube.com/watch?v=wUgoY9eW3Wc

About David Lee Guss

I first became obsessed with photography and motion pictures while growing up in post WW2 Manila in the Philippine Islands in the late 1940's/early 1950's. Film noirs were a particular influence. But my first love remains the theater. I acted in numerous amateur productions from 1958 to 1978. In 1979 I earned a MA in drama from the University of Arizona; earlier getting a BA in English from the University of Minnesota, where I co-founded the first film society on campus and ran it for four years. While at the U of A, I studied with the master black and white photo essayist W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) the last year of his life. I am the last person cited in Jim Hughes' definitive biography of Gene, as I wrote about attending his final...
