This product arrived on time and it is awesome!

The image looks wonderful on this bag showing much more detail than I expected. I would like a bit more depth to the bag. It feels a bit shallow compared to the width.

Nice and large. Was hoping for an inside zipper pocket. Also some way to close the top, a zipper or latch.

Artist's Description

Film homage, "The Air Mail," Leader Theater, Washington, D.C.,1925-2010. Only four of this 8 reel film exist in the Library of Congress. The critical failure was largely shot in the ghost town of Rhyolite, Nevada. The tag line for this opus was: "Nor Snow, Nor Rain, Nor Wind, Nor Night, Can Stay the Pilot In His Flight." Charles Lindberg (1902-1974) had been an airmail pilot in the 1920's. In 1927 he was the first pilot to fly solo non stop from New York to Paris. When he returned to New York he was greeted by a thunderous ticket tape parade. 30 years later Billy Wilder dramatized Lindberg's achievement in "The Spirit of St. Louis." The film was not a success as the flight was already a faded memory. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pADw8x4zjsk&feature=related

About David Lee Guss

I first became obsessed with photography and motion pictures while growing up in post WW2 Manila in the Philippine Islands in the late 1940's/early 1950's. Film noirs were a particular influence. But my first love remains the theater. I acted in numerous amateur productions from 1958 to 1978. While at the U of A, I studied with the master black and white photo essayist W. Eugene Smith (1918-1978) the last year of his life. I am the last person cited in Jim Hughes' definitive biography of Gene, as I wrote about attending his final...
