The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Artist's Description
This is an image of the Fire Cave in the Valley of Fire State Park, Nevada. I have seen this feature named “Windstone Arch” as well...Since this cave is quite small and somewhat difficult to locate I was pleased to have located it within the Valley of Fire. Photographing the cave is quite cramped and requires the use of a super-wide angle lens to take it all in. Morning light is best as shadows appear in mid-day and specular highlights interfere with a clean shot. With some determination a fine image can be made using a tripod and f22 settings. Park officials may be willing to point an explorer in the right direction to locate this small but interesting feature.

Nice shot. We were there about two months ago for the first time. That area has some wild geology. It rained, got cold and I was in a wheel chair with a bad knee, so couldn't see the pictographs.
