Great.
I made this panoramic composite of fireworks from many images. These images that I added to the composite were all taken with a Nikon D90 with a Nikon 18-105mm f/3.5- f/5.6 zoom lens. The exposure of these composite images were shot on bulb using my hat to block length of exposure of fireworks, the aperture was set at f/11 with an ISO of 200.
The background of stars was another photo that was composited in Photoshop. The star field was photographed in northern Minnesota of the Milky Way Galaxy. I used the same camera a Nikon D90. The lens I used was a Tamron 10 – 24mm f/3.5-f/4.5 Ultra zoom lens. The exposure of the star field was 30 seconds at f/3.5 set at ISO 3200. The zoom setting was shot at the shortest focal length of 10mm.
These images were combined into Photoshop to form the finished panoramic composite. I used blending masks in Photoshop to join the various layers together.

From home darkrooms to industrial photo labs and in various studios and on-location as a commercial photographer. I have assisted many professional photographers, worked in various labs and studios. My education was from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo,Iowa. There I received my associate of applied arts degree in photography. I am an alumni of the Winona School of Professional Photography, formally sponsored...
