Thanks Wayne. Appreciate your encouragement!

Amazing work Mary!!!

Thanks again John! I love taking my photo references from zoos or nature preserves and "returning the animals to the wild". If I remember correctly, this little guy/gal lived at the Indianapolis zoo. The mother had two or three cubs and I have lots of photos. That was a good day.

Love the Tiger Painting, Like how you have got the fur so perfect on the Tiger makes it so lifelike!! The reflection in the water just brings the hole Painting together. V/F

Thanks Judith!

Just beautiful!!!

I purchased this for a gift and the recipient was blown away. The artistry is alive in this bag with Frida. Perfect!

I absolutely LOVE Monica's artwork and it's extra special to be able to carry her artwork around with me wherever I go. Quality of the bag is good, too!

I’m very pleased with my Back2bike bag from artist John Kurtyka. The bag is high quality so it holds my library books quite securely. And since I’m a bike rider, I love the picture, so unique, people notice it and comment so I tell them about this website and the unique works of this artist.

Gorgeous photo on the bag. Loved that I could adjust the photo size to suit my preference. Wanted to use for going to the health food store as I need to replace the 15 year old canvas, washable bags I have now. These will not last as long as those canvas bags. I could even deal with slight fading when I needed to wash them. These do not feel washable. Cheap mesh "fabric" on the interior will tear. Disappointed in the fabric on the inside and outside.

I was hoping for a heavyweight cotton canvas bag to use for grocery shopping; this will not be it. I wanted a bag that would be washable. This has a cheap mesh fabric on the interior that will tear in short order. The exterior is some sort of nylon or other synthetic fabric that I do not feel comfortable washing. I guess I didn't realize what kind of fabric it was made of. It is beautiful but not useful for my needs.

Artist's Description

Although photographed in a zoo, I felt this tiger cub should be returned to the wild. The tiger cub is depicted here viewing his first reflection surrounded by natural foliage. Tigers love the water and this tiger cub is catching on.

Mary is attracted by the fluid movement of watercolor and the versatility of acrylic. She works from her own reference photographs, often combining several photos. Mary and her husband retired to North Augusta, SC in 2006. At that time the artist was still traveling throughout the country teaching seminars and...
