Firth Rail Poster is a rail memorabilia lithograph inspired color and texture photo manipulation study of the Firth of Forth Rail bridge in Queensferry Scotland.
The originating photograph was taken from the South Queensferry pier.
The photo was post processed in Capture One then exported to Photoshop where digital textures and multiple effect filters were applied. I then went back in and touched up the final picture to make it look less like a computer generated image. The final painting looks like an old lithograph reproduction that you might find in an English or Scottish countryside antique store.
Note: This painting was designed to be printed on either a white rag or smooth finished paper

Brilliant! You did a beautiful job! And thanks for the memories. I'll never forget the time I rode the train south across this bridge chatting with an old retired Scottish railroad man and his wife who were on their way to Jersey for their first vacation since their honeymoon there!
