Aah, Now we're talkin...ABSOLUTELY MAGNIFICENT. Greatest photo of Parker I have ever seen. The lighting, composition, her expression, the bold black and white stripes of her dress making B&W photography all it can be. Let's not forget the clarity still there at the size. I have original Hurrell's and C.S. Bull from 1947 of Hedy & Ava. This Parker Just as Good.

It is what it is. Nice atmospheric effect of lighting and all, but not a great likeness of Taylor in later years. Not his best shot, fun to own however. Aside: Hurrell had bad days too.

Great 3/4 profile of Gable. No fan of Harlow. May try and remove her from photo.

Didn't order this second photo

Artist's Description

http://fineartamerica.com/shop/framed+prints/frank+hunter?page=1 A salvaged painting from house destruction and re-worked to tell a story from my youth. This is me fishing with my Grandfather when I was around 10 years old. The scene is viewed from the railroad bridge over the White Oak Creek. The structure serves as a protection for the pipe drawing water into the steam pump just behind me. The water is pumped a mile or so to the mainline of the Norfoilk and Western railroad. My grandparents owned the property on the other side left of the bridge. That is the Sardinia-Mowrystown Road.

About Frank Hunter

Frank L. Hunter... Portsmouth Ohio... the world to Tampa Florida What you see on this site is my "arto-biography".. Almost all illustrations in these galleries tell the story of my life. That is what an illustration does. On these sites you will find my birthplace, my travels, my loves and my friends. After more than fifty years in the advertising art business (or commercial art, as it was once called), I retired in 2007 and commenced to assemble past works and illustrate my life. I am a native of Portsmouth Ohio, and one of my galleries on this site is devoted to that city. I can honestly say that in each of my works, "I was there". I received fine art training at Ohio State University and then went to work for a major advertising art...
