After spending nine hours fishing for Black Fish in New Jersey, the boat I chartered with my friends named the Codfather began to head back to the south shore of Long Island. The night before I had called the captain of the Codfather to see if we were still going fishing the following days as the forecast was calling for 5 to 6 foot wave heights, with 35 mph winds and 28 degree weather.
