The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

In Fishing the Flats, I wanted to paint a beautiful, exciting day of fishing. The painting catches the quiet and how peaceful it can be when fishing the flats. Many fish art painting just show the fish, or show a close up of the fishing. I wanted the fishing to be part of the landscape. The moving sky brings you in and the sea keeps you in the frame.
