... A beautiful Spring morning
on the river, fog rolling in
under the trestle.
These fishing buddies,
a man and is dog,
are cruising around
the swollen river
on this pretty misty dawn.
This is the Valley River
where it meets
the Hiwassee River
just beyond the fog
in the convergeance curve
in the river.
Fresh leaves hang on the branches
along the edge of the stream.
Sunlight breaks through
the cloudy mist to light up
the sycamore and willow trees
along the banks...

Margaret, there is a bigger art fair on June 6th, Saturday that we will be showing at but every Saturday there is a smaller farmer's market with a few artists. We don't participate in the smaller market. Looks like we may miss you but have a wonderful time in Murphy! We do have a small gallery in the Valley River Merchants building next to our art guild gallery (33 Valley River Ave) and our members run both so we don't hang out there very often.
