I love this picture because, in one shot, it captures the wonderful things about Fayetteville. I also love the bright colors. I first saw it hanging in the conference room of the UA Industrial Engineering Department. I was told where to find it on-line and I ordered a larger version for my office in Fort Smith. The first time I ordered it I ordered the wrong version of it. I was really pleased to get to use the "destroy it and prove to us you did" feature instead of having to send the first picture back. I was more careful ordering it the second time and I love the picture I received. Thanks for a wonderful experience and a beautiful picture.

Very nice; dramatic. All the canvas prints I have gotten at FineArtAmerica have looked like originals. Looks just as pictured, even in one of the larger sizes (but did not get largest).

Artist's Description

A modern metropolis spouting from the desert, Sheik Zayed road is one of many such jewels which decorate the city of Dubai. Here flowers such as these Flame of the Forest trees and others, adorn one of its many roadside gardens. New buildings have sprouted between these since I painted this canvas, as the city literally reaches for the sky. The United Arab Emirates is one of my favorite destinations in the Gulf region and fast becoming a Mecca for westerners. The recent boom here has affected all aspects of life including the Arts, which has meant the city hosting shows of the highest calibre.
