This photo of the flatiron building caught my eye. Wonderful technique to highlight the nostalgic feel of this grand old building from the last century. I would love to learn how you did it. v/f

Jeff Burgess replied:

Hi Mary, thanks much for your comment. Attempts at reproducing work similar to the Masters often fails. I am happy that this one has resonated with you and others. If you email me I will explain the technique.

Thanks for the feature in 'Pacific Northwest Artists'. Much appreciated.

Fantastic lighting and mood.

Jeff Burgess replied:

Thanks so much Karen.

Jeff, this is one of the most beautiful images I have seen. I love the dark edges and the traffic down below is a whole other world. The overall texture/processing is really great. It has painterly qualities too. YES...it makes the grade. Exceptional.

Jeff Burgess replied:

So happy you looked and commented. It is very much appreciated.

We are extremely pleased! The artwork was exactly what we were looking for and the towel quality is superior. Great birthday gift for my son who couldn’t have been more excited upon opening the gift! This is my second time purchasing from you and I will continue to do so, as well as spread the word. Keep up the great work!!

Pen Sherwood's Amitors artwork goes anywhere with Diana Kisselburg's words! Many years ago, my uncle Thomas (Tom) Phillip Hufford asked me to come up with a word the opposite of predator. Amitor is that word. Ami: Fr. friend, Amigo: Sp. friend, Amity: Eng. harmony, Ami: Formosa, Taiwan. Giraffe: non predatory animal unless young attacked. Butterflies: live, love, laugh, hope. Survive, thrive and inspire others. Pen Sherwood offered to do this Amtor artwork for free sharing the copyright with me for my Amitor concept. Amitor Tom would be so proud. Diana Hays Kisselburg
