The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

"FLIGHT OF PELICANS" by JAMES BARBER
Dawn at the Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge near Vian, Oklahoma. I was trying to capture the morning light behind these trees when a flight of White Pelicans flew across in single file. They were headed to a small nearby lake to feed. Several groups flew over me as well. As they glided in, the only sound heard was the wind across their wings. It made the early trip to the refuge truly worthwhile.
