Very pleased with the image, color, printing . My selection of printing onto wood is great for this image. There are a few mildly dark lines which are natural to wood. They show through the image and contribute to the image--glad that none of these was over the face of the horse rider.

Perfect! I wish that you'd included a translation of the two inscriptions in some ancient language that are above the shoulders of St John Coltrane. It would cost your company virtually nothing to supply this with the picture.

This picture seems to reveal a ghost. You have to look for it. It is kind of a puzzle, but you will find iit if you look for him. This picture is done on rice paper and then wet mounted with Japanese mounting methods.
About Steve Lucas
I am a mixed media artist specializing in Oriental style art. As a practicing Zen Buddhist, I became fascinated with the beautiful simplicity of Japanese sumi-e, which means ink pictures I have devoted extensive study to the structure and style of many Japanese masters. I also was privileged to study under the late Chinese watercolor and mixed media artist Joan Yen at Phoenix College. Joan introduced me to the classic text the "Mustard Seed Garden". Over the last few years, I have devoted hours to copying the ink paintings contained in this classic text. By copying the many pictures in the Mustard Seed Garden, you are able to start to gain control of the bamboo brush and the various brush strokes. I can see that this will be a life...
