About Roy Cooper
Born in Bristol in 1952, Roy originally trained as a textile designer at Bristol Polytechnic Faculty of Art and Design. Soon realising his talents lay elsewhere, he has spent time as a graphic artist and photographer. He now works in oils, mainly producing graphical portraits. His photography covers all topics but is mainly based around his first love, powerboat racing. He is the founder and editor of the Fastonwater website - www.fastonwater.co.uk. He is also Treasurer of the Fastonwater Foundation - a charity set up to preserve the history of powerboat racing in the UK.
