The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

I remember my rather reserved and quiet grandmother saying to me once "I love trees, I never get tired of looking at them." Since grandma never mentioned "love" outloud more than twice in her life, to my knowledge, I was a very impressed seven year old. I think I must have inherited my love of trees from her, I have made hundreds of tree pictures! Glad you like the composition, that is such an important aspect of photography I think. Actually, it was early Spring, before the trees were awake! Our river is full of ice in the Winter.

This is a wonderful tranquil scene Paula. I like your foreground of the bare trees on the right as it leads the eye into the picture. You can be sure it is Winter when you took this. Great photography from the composition point of view.
