About Emily Michaud
Emily Elizabeth Michaud loves art, teaching and caring for children. She has a BA in Fine Art from Regis College and is certified to teach little ones from birth through elementary school. She enjoys working with various media and trying new techniques. She likes to mimic the masters, particularly the impressionists and also makes her own creative works. She uses her imagination and also the subject matter that surrounds her; her family, pets, places they visit, the pretty little New England town she lives in and the wonderful things her family grows on their little farm to work from. She obtains a great deal of inspiration from other artists on Fine Art America and welcomes all kinds of feedback.

Very pleasing composition Emily! The stone wall and split rail fence are wonderful supporting design elements. I especially like the reflected color of the flowers on the stones. L&F

Ken, Eleonora, your compliments mean so much. You both have great talent. This was the first painting I completed after moving back to Massachusetts from Oregon and it was very fun to paint a scene from the home I grew up at and had just returned to after a very fun journey in the West.
