I had held off purchasing any Super Bowl LVIII collectibles or memorabilia until I found something that I thought was just “awesome”. When I saw this SI Cover, I knew I had to have it. Honestly it’s one of the best photos I’ve ever seen. Along with the captions it captures what Super Bowl LVIII was all about. Your Photog was in the right place at the right time and did a great job of capturing what Chiefs fans all across the country felt at that moment. As you can see I had the perfect place for it, it makes this wall complete and up to date.

Artist's Description

The caverns were formed from deposits of coral, shell and sediments from the sea floor some 38 million years ago when Florida was submerged. As the sea level fell, these materials became hardened limestone. As acidic rainwater percolated through the soil these formations were created. Cracks and passages were created from the same dissolving process. These caves have been a remarkable part of Florida's history and prehistory. They have been forming for thousands of years and archaeologists have even discovered human footprints and artifacts left behind by ancient Indian hunters who passed through more than 1,000 years ago. The first written accounts date from the 1600s, when Spanish missionaries and soldiers arrived to find the Chacato Indians living around them. A missionary described caves in the vicinity and noted that Indian hunters often used them for shelter while they were out in search of game. Florida Caverns are in Marianna, Fl.

About Chris Kusik

Chris Kusik

Chris was born in southern Delaware in 1960. As a teenager he began studying maps of Florida and dreamed of exploring the state and its natural treasures. In the early 1980s he moved to Central Florida. During his travels throughout the state he discovered the beauty of its swamps, prairies, springs, rivers and lakes. This led to an interest in photography and its ability to document his adventures. He also developed an interest in astronomy. He studied the work of Ansel Adams and his zone system as well as the works of the his colleges in the f 64 club of art photographers. It became apparent that researching the accomplishments of painters would also be beneficial. Chris began to establish his own style, a fusion of art and...
