I like to kayak rivers, as they take me on scenic journeys, sometimes looking through clear waters to see what fish I might see. Once in a while I will encounter a fisherman or two. I'd like to try more fishing, but I'm not sure I have the long patience it can require. This scene was commissioned by a man who loved to go fly fishing with his daughter in the Truckee River, near Reno, Nevada. Looking at references made me want to visit the beautiful area and try my hand at this sport. Most any reason to get to a beautiful river, seems like a good one.
